CUPERTINO, CA (October 18, 2004) - Zeidman Technologies (www.zeidman.biz), a developer of software tools for embedded system design, today announced the appointment of Professor Giovanni De Micheli to its Board of Advisors.

Dr. De Micheli is Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Stanford University and one of the world's leading researchers in electronic design automation. He is the author of several books and over 270 technical articles and is the recipient of numerous engineering awards.

According to Dr. De Micheli, "Zeidman Technologies has developed a very interesting new technology in their SynthOS product. It allows a programmer to write operating system independent software and then create the operating system automatically. An area of great concern today in the design of electronic devices is the reduction of power consumption, and I see SynthOS as one way of accomplishing this goal."
